Women in Tech Workshop Series: Automatically Testing a Web App

Cognizant Softvision hosts second workshop for the Women in Tech Cluj community in Romania

Cognizant Softvision is proud to announce the second workshop in a series of technical hands-on sessions organized by Women in Tech in Cluj-Napoca. 

The first “Women in Tech Workshop” focused on creating a TODO app from scratch using only HTML, CSS and Vanilla Javascript. This second session, hosted by Cognizant Softvision, will focus on Automation Testing as we continue the work on the TODO app.

Discover some of the best practices in automation with Cognizant Softvision Lead QA/QC Engineer Andreea Popescu. Gain first-hand experience with Selenium, Java, Maven, and Testng while you learn how to identify locators needed for user interactions, such as click, check, and write text, and discover how to use those actions to create tests and run them at the click of a button.

Andreea Popescu, Lead QA/QC Engineer from the Cognizant Softvision Cluj-Napoca Studio, has been an automation engineer since 2012. Andreea has vast experience with different tools, programming languages, and various approaches for both mobile and web apps. She’s also a busy mom who considers herself “a workaholic” who makes the most out of her working hours.
