What does splitting stories have in common with Martial Arts?

Cognizant Softvision is excited to host another Meetup with the local NYC Scrum User Group!

Join us on February 27 in our Hudson Yards studio to learn from Agile trainers, Anil Jaising and Linda Fung,  in an interactive and hands-on workshop with a focus on story splitting. Effective Product Backlog Refinement is the bedrock of delivering a valuable product increment every sprint. Like learning Martial Arts, good story splitting requires years of constant practice, coaching and a set of basic moves that can be used in a sequence to refine a story into the INVEST criteria.

  • Apply twelve powerful techniques to split a story
  • Evaluate what splitting pattern is best suited for a story
  • Explain how effective product backlog refinement can help scrum teams deliver value every sprint

When:

February 27, 2020 | 6:00-8:00pm
