“Operating systems need to build in flexibility, giving users the opportunity to defer updates and schedule them at a time when they’re not intensely using their devices. This is common practice for business users, where IT department managed software updates have procedures, enabling users to decide when updates that require a restart will happen. People need control when scheduling an update.”
