Softvision’s Largest Technical Event Was a Major Success

September 26, 2018 – Softvision’s fourth-annual Programmers’ Week recently wrapped up, taking place September 10-14 across all of the company’s 27 Studios.

The week-long event, which celebrated technology, innovation, and knowledge, was a major success. As Softvision’s largest internal technical event, Programmers’ Week 2018 boasted 81 Tech Talks, where 95 Softvisioners had the opportunity to present their expertise to their colleagues around the globe. The presentations took place in five countries, across 10 Studios, covering topics ranging from Blockchain, DevOps, .NET, Robotic Process Automation, QA, and much more. For those who couldn’t attend the presentations in person, Softvision provided Livestream, which totaled 56 hours at the week’s end. The livestreaming videos had over 18,408 views, demonstrating the enthusiasm our Softvisioners had for the event.

Softvision also created a group within Facebook Workplace dedicated to Programmers’ Week. The group had 1,372 members who made 146 comments in 76 posts. But perhaps most importantly, we had 366 “likes.”
