Ines Casares Wins Gold Female Executive of the Year Award

The VP of Global Delivery Strategy & Head of Studios, Americas takes home a Gold Stevie®Award

Ines Casares, VP of Global Delivery Strategy and the Head of Studios, Americas has been awarded a Gold Stevie®Award for Female Executive of the Year in Mexico, Central & South America. The award recognizes individual women entrepreneurs and executives in Mexico, Central America, and South America for their accomplishments since the beginning of July 2019.

While the Cognizant Softvision Argentina office was launched in late ‘2018, it did not begin to grow in earnest until the summer of ‘2019. Under the direction and leadership of Ines, Cognizant Softvision Buenos Aires and surrounding satellite offices grew to more than 200 people in less than 18 months, creating a sizable footprint and noteworthy Latin America hub for the leading software product engineering company. As Ines has overseen the growth of the office and the Latin America region for Cognizant Softvision (including a new office and presence in Mexico, she also took on the added responsibility as Head of Studios, Americas. In this role, she oversees five different studios in the US, ensuring ongoing quality control and excellence in client service, business development, recruitment and culture development. Ines has also been tapped as a frequent speaker on innovation and diversity issues. In the past 18 months, she has spoken on a Women in Action panel, where she celebrated international girls in IT day; served as a panelist speaking to innovation trends and business transformation opportunities at the Ben Pring Conference in Argentina; and has also spoken on Inclusion in Tech and the importance of inspiring a positive culture as part of Cognizant’s The Center for the Future of Work conference.

Outside of her amazing contributions to Cognizant Softvision’s overall growth and accomplishments, Ines serves as an Adjunct Professor at Universidad Austral in Buenos Aires, where she’s teaching master’s level courses in change management and communications.

More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 100 categories including Executive of the Year in which Andres Angelani, Cognizant Softvision CEO was awarded Gold, and Internal Communications, in which the Cognizant Softvision Marketing campaign, Cognizant Softvision Doubles Down on Culture and Communications In The Age of Covid, also won Gold.
