Cognizant Softvision Romania understands the need to support the medical system during the COVID-19 health crisis, donating $73,000 to The Oncology Institute “Prof. Dr. Ion Chiricuţă” Cluj-Napoca. Recognizing our support of the local healthcare community, Cognizant Softvision was recently featured in a popular Romanian business publication, Business Review.
Business Review writes, “The donation is made to the Romanian Oncological Association ‘Ion Chiricuță’ and is meant to support the first line medical staff and the patients affected by this virus. The amount is intended to be used to purchase over 5,000 FFP2 masks, 3,000 test kits for the diagnosis of COVID-19 virus.“
The article also quotes Mihai Constandis, Cognizant Softvision Romania Country Manager, saying, “Whenever necessary, we respond positively to the needs of the healthcare system and now we have decided to concentrate our efforts on the Oncological Hospital in the city of Cluj-Napoca, a community of which we have been part of for over 20 years. ”
