INDIA, April 5, 2019 – One of Cognizant Softvision’s clients, McMillan Shakespeare Group (MMSG) from Melbourne, Australia recently committed to donating 30 laptops toward our Corporate Social Responsibility programme, Softvision Candle, to support the Girl Child education in rural schools of Mysore
The Girl Child education programme strives to open up avenues to help female students progress in their education and become self empowered. For this particular initiative, 30 laptops will be donated by MMSG to the Sumana Vidya Kendra school and Banumaiah Girls High School in Mysore, India. The laptops will provide e-learning to students who would have otherwise been restricted to textbooks and limited resources.
On April 2, as a token of appreciation, MMSG’s Daniel Giesen-White, IT Executive (CIO) and Damian Babij, Head of Digital, were presented with a certificate of appreciation by Girish Karunakaran, VP, APAC Studios and Vinu Peter, Human Resources, Cognizant Softvision, on behalf of the Cognizant Softvision Foundation.
