Cognizant Softvision’s partner, a California based healthcare financial tech company with an established presence in the financial transaction management services, needed a solution that would seamlessly integrate it’s suite of services with a potential new clients’ software.

A Cognizant Softvision client is a leading learning science company and a top three educational publisher, provides customized educational content, software and services for pre-K through post graduate education. They also provide reference and trade publications for the medical, business and engineering professions.

CHALLENGE

As part of a large, digital delivery organization, the client engages on a variety of digital platforms, but they need to grow both bandwidth and velocity as they continue to transform their existing user experiences and features into top-tier solutions. 

COGNIZANT SOFTVISION’S SOLUTION

The client has over 60 different agile teams dedicated to the delivery of their digital platforms, but didn’t have the complete capacity to scale, specifically on their ability to digital deliver assessment tests to their student customer base. The Cognizant Softvision team was engaged to assemble a team of talented individuals that provide increased capacity to the assessment platform, addressing any area of work with a backlog or in need of additional resources.

Working alongside the large in-house teams, the Cognizant Softvision team owns a product roadmap dedicated to created new assessment question types and features on a backlog. This allows the Cognizant Softvision team to iterate quickly with a full understanding of incoming requests, which allows the client the capability to not only scale in the most efficient manner possible, but concentrate on adding in unique user experiences.  

Using an agile development process, we pulled in the right experts from Guilds to build a high-performing team called a Pod, that would enable a quick delivery and go-to-market solution.
